wire 2020 canceled
- 23. November 2020
Messe Düsseldorf has canceled wire 2020 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The next event will take place in 2022 according the original schedule.
An understandable decision
The intensifying pandemic left the organizers with no choice. “This is an understandable decision, as there is simply too much uncertainty for both us exhibitors and visitors,” said Dr. Jörg-Peter Renz, CEO of Jouhsen-bündgens, who explained that heath had to be the priority.
New website online
“We want to encourage our customers and those interested in our products to stay in touch with us in different ways,” said Renz. Although online meetings, teleconferences and emails can never replace personal contact, Renz pointed to them as proven ways to remain in contact despite the pandemic. Jouhsen-bündgens has also revamped its website to provide a better overview of its range of wire processing machines and filling systems for the pharmaceuticals industry. Featuring new content and a new structure, the site is also responsive, making it easier to view on tablets and smartphones.
See you in 2022
wire is the most important international trade fair for the wire and cable industry. When it returns in 2022, Jouhsen-bündgens is certain to be there. Renz: “We will not pass up this chance to enjoy personal discussions with customers and other interested parties.” Jouhsen-bündgens has not yet decided which new products it intends to present in 2022. But one thing is certain: the team in Stolberg will use the time to improve wire processing even more. There’s lots to look forward to!
